About UsSince its inception in 2015, the Krupnick Foundation has funded various projects in Camden, NJ and nearby areas. In an effort to support those in need in Southern New Jersey various food banks and related support centers were awarded grants. These included some of the largest service facilities in the city and in other areas of Southern New Jersey, often providing hundreds of meals per day to those in need. Some of these operations also offer classes teaching cooking and food preparation in order to place students in food service careers. Other organizations supported include those which address local youth on proper conflict resolution, guidance to avoid gang violence and establishments which arrange educational programs to motivate students to remain in school and to subsequently apply to colleges. Homelessness is a rampant issue in our local cities, therefore the Foundation awarded several grants to missions and homeless facilities in the area.
Grants have also been awarded to a museum and educational center which teaches both students and adults tolerance and anti-bullying through the use of stage performances and speakers revealing the lessons learned through personal histories as told by Holocaust survivors. In addition several schools received grants to fund special educational projects. Any 501(c)(3) organization which fits into the Foundation’s mission statement is encouraged to apply by accessing the “Grant Information” tab. |
